Pink Sports Day supported by Hawthorn Hockey Club & Footscray Hockey Club
Story
Hawthorn Hockey Club, in conjunction with Footscray Hockey Club, are excited to announce that we will be turning pink again this season in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia to help raise vital awareness of breast cancer in the hockey community as well as recognising the vital role women play in grassroots sport.
Everyday 48 families around Australia are affected by a breast cancer diagnosis, in 2017 more than 17,586 women and 144 men will hear the words ‘you have breast cancer’.
Hawthorn Hockey Club & Footscray Hockey Club will be turning PINK on Saturday 3rd June 2017 for the Premier League clash between the two clubs. Also on this day our Women's Pennant A, B and D will be featuring and playing their matches on H2. See below for fixtures.

How can you get involved and support our PINK SPORTS DAY?
Come along on the day and wear something pink!! We will be holding a BBQ, a PINK afternoon tea and a raffle whilst supporting all of the teams playing on the day.
If you're unable to attend on Saturday 3rd June but would still like to support our event by donating then you're able make a online donation through this page by clicking ‘Donate’ button on the side. You will automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt via email and receive an entry into our PINK raffle...
PINK Raffle
To enter our PINK raffle all you need to do is either make a $10 donation online or purchase a $10 raffle ticket on the day. In both cases, for every $10 donation you'll receive one entry into the raffle. Raffle prizes will be announced shortly and winners will be announced on the day.
Your donations on the day or online via this page will go directly to BCNA to help ensure Australians affected by breast cancer are provided with the very best support, information, treatment and care appropriate to their individual needs.
